President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III signed Proclamation No. 276, declaring Monday, November 7, 2011 as a regular holiday throughout the country, in observance of Eidul Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).
According to the Proclamation No. 276, Republic Act No. 9849 provides that Eidul Adha, one of the two greatest feasts of Islam, shall be celebrated as a regular holiday in the country.
President Aquino signed Proclamation No. 276 on October 20, 2011.
