The school celebrated its First Holy Communion last January 30, Friday at 9:00 in the morning. It was held at St. John the Evangelist Parish with Monsigñor Rafael S. Magno as Mass celebrant.
Twenty four pupils from the Grades II, III and IV comprised the second batch of communicants for SRBCL. The male communicants were: Benin, Isaiah Luis R., Bernal, Francis Gino P., De Vera, Jeremy Jershwin G., Eden, William Charles Federico U., Fernandez, Thomas Joey D., Gutierrez, Joseph B., Laforteza, Cris Adrian U., Lopez, Bryle B., Pulmano, Warren Kent P., Rosario, Terence Ryan M., Santiago, Jose Andre B., Santiago, Jose Antonio B., Serafica, Matthew Jose R.; and the female communicants were: Aque, Mary Rose G., Barrozo, Angela Kyle C., Barrozo, Luisita Kimberly C., Carrera, Geowela Marie M., Castro, Mary Angeli M., Joaquin, Jamina Anne M., Laforteza, Stepahnie U., Pulmano, Nysa Cecilia P., Quinto, Alea Jan C., Ramos, Shatze Dominique S., and Sta. Maria, Charlene Joy M.
The pupils attended catechism classes since last November 2008 led by Bro. Rudy F. Fernandez and ably assisted by Bro. Ricky R. Go. Their classes were aimed at preparing them for full participation in the Eucharist.
